Welcome to the Iron Horse website!
Here it is, already June, and we have ended another fabulous year of learning at Iron Horse. Now it is time to slow down, reflect on the year, make revisions to our already great programs and then relax!
We firmly believe in the importance of being informed and planning ahead therefore we have included some important information about the 2010-11 school year on this website. Feel free take a few moments and explore all that the website has to offer and/or you can focus on these specific timely areas:
- Registration Information – Click on the “Registration Info” link to the right of this message (between the paw prints). Under this link you will find information on the dates of registration as well as supply lists for all grade levels.
- 2010-11 Bell Schedule – Click on “School Info” to the left of this message.
- Year-at-a-Glance Calendar of Activities for 2010-11 – Click on the “Calendar” link to the left of this message.
- Summer Math Information – The Iron Horse Math Department has created “packets” for summer math practice. To locate these electronic packets simply click on the “Curriculum” link located to the left of this message and then click on “Summer Math.”
The teachers and staff at Iron Horse will enjoy their summer break and hopefully get the rest that they have so richly deserve. However, before we know it, we will be busily preparing for another fabulous year. We are eager about welcoming our incoming 6th graders and are confident that they will love their new school. We are equally excited about having our incoming 7th and 8th graders return to Iron Horse.
Look out for the summer newsletter that will be mailed to all Iron Horse families in August for more important information about our new school year together.
